Welcome to Southview Farm and Plant Nurseries

We’re a small, family run farm and plant nursery located in the heart of rural Wiltshire providing farm fresh produce and plants to the local community and businesses. The farm consists of over 6000 free range laying hens, in 7 hen houses, and a herd of pedigree Sussex cattle for boxed beef.

The farm also has a Christmas tree plantation. The Nursery grows and sells seasonal bedding & patio plants, tubs and hanging baskets and also sells handmade Christmas wreaths and our own trees. We also sell fresh Walter’s Turkeys at Christmas.

We welcome people to come and visit us and see what we have to offer. We sell to the public here at Southview but also love to be contacted regarding larger orders to retail outlets and hospitality businesses for both our farm and nursery produce. We also re-home our hens when their time with us is over, so get in touch if you would like large or small quantities as we re-home about every four months.

Southview was started by Philip Ashby and his wife Rebecca who are now ably assisted by their son Anthony, wife Susie and two adventurous little boys, Harry and Louis, who can often be found exploring the greenhouses and making friends with the chickens.
